IntroParagraph. I, Too, Sing America.

In the poem "I, Too, Sing America" by Langston Hughes, the tones rejection and hope reflect the speaker's view of racism in his time and the longing that one day he will be treated as an equal. Despite the judgemental and prejudice feelings the people present have towards him, he shows determination in his effort to make them see that he is equivalent to all men, regardless of his race.
